Wanted to order a meal with chips instead of potatoes and was refused, told to order chips separately at a further cost even though chips were on the menu. Potatoes were hard and chewy. We went here for a family birthday on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere was great, a perfectly cosy Mediterranean restaurant. The staff were great. Friendly and welcoming. The food was very good. Price: most starters were £7-£10. Mains £11-14. (There were one or two items, such as lobster that were £30+ There was a set meal for around £22, but only available Mon-Thurs. As we had 10 people in our group, a deposit of £10/person was required. Which is reasonable, but worth noting. There was a slight mixup with one of our mains, but this was sorted quickly and without any fuss. As we were a large party, this doesn't seem like a huge issue. I will definitely visit again.
