I recently bought a Solea laser. I've been in dentistry for 35 years and have every high-tech product available - I've been looking for the other hard tissue lasers for years and was not satisfied with their performance, even in controlled demos. The solea is a horse of a difference color. Not only is it an excellent product, as promised under all circumstances, but the team that supports the laser-convergent dental is an excellent company with exceptional service and support. They are very personal and you can really talk to people. Your training will not disappoint you. I'm happy.

I just had to give away several boxes of Lidocaine that I haven't used in the last 2 years since I got solea. Pretty awesome! My patients seem to love it and I love my job more than I ever have. This machine is easy to and the technical support is fantastic. The Cutting is quick, clean and quiet. This is not the lasers of old where the cutting was slow and anesthesia was unreliable. I recommend trying solea to my colleagues and friends.

Unbelievable! I hit the ground running with my new Solea hard tissue laser and haven’t looked back. I did 6 fillings and 1 fibroma removal anesthesia free the first day back after training. I found it to cut/ablate very efficiently and with very little to no discomfort. My basic restorative appointments take about half the time which I attribute to not waiting around for local anesthetic to kick in.

As a practicing dentist for 47 years I can truly say The Soea Laser has changed my dental technique 100 . I 've had the Solea for four months and use it during most procedures. It 's not the magic wand of dentistry, but with that being said I have done most of my procedures without anesthetic. My patients appreciate what the laser has been able to do and say that they feel very little or about a 3 and a scale of 10. Even when I numb the patient I have been using the Solea. There is never any post-op sensitivity, and I feel that the bond strengths are increased due to self etching effect created by the laser. I have done crown lengthening, pocket reduction, neoplasm removal, frenum removal, a crown, fillings removes old composite like butter) and even removed sun spots on my own hand don 't tell anyone). Class V 's that are at or subgingival are a breeze just using topical, implant uncovering with little to no bleeding, desensitizing cervical erosion area 's, and even gingival pigment reduction. Biggest down side is the ergonomics of the laser actually most lasers) but most dentist adapt pretty well and get use to it. Sometimes you wish it would work faster but without numbing you get down just as fast. You have to learn what it is good for and what might not be a procedure you want to try without anesthesia. Amalgam removal is slow. I am finding that most patients are a lot more tolerant than we as dentist think when it comes to doing dental procedures . Most will like the idea of not leaving your office and being numbed for a few hours. It is easier to adjust occlusions with complete feeling of the patients mouth. Children seem to tolerate it well and its nice to be able to do multiple quads at the same appointment. It is a great adjunct to every office and can pay for itself by easily throwing in a few more restorations each day, plus it is fun to watch it work.
