Contribuisci feedbackThe drive thru has become speedy and well organized. Food is hot and service is friendly. The staff is helpful and friendly. There is a huge improvement in the speed of service over the last few years. You now get your food quickly.
On this trip I have found that many of the service staff in restaurants etc are New Canadians. It is wonderful to see these people working hard to make a good life for themselves, and usually I have not found that language was a problem. At this restaurant, the young woman who took my order was very confused about what I wanted and entered incorrect data on the cash register - which I pointed out and eventually got fixed. When the kitchen staff were preparing the order, it appears that the WRONG order was initially made up, and there were several wait staff jabbering at each other in a foreign language about this. They were all in good spirits and seemed to find this quite amusing, so at least they were happy. My order was finally ready, and it was the usual good McDonald's quality, just what one expects. I think they would be better off with cashier staff who speak good English and it does not matter what language is spoken in the kitchen.
Well, we just stopped for coffee, muffins and cookies. The chocolate chip cookies are oh so good!I really wanted to comment on the staff. We have stopped by numerous times on route from Winnipeg. All of the staff are so friendly and attentive! The restaurant is always clean.
Orderd 2 for 1 breakfast meal, came with coffee which we did not want, after stating I did not want the coffee, the assistant persisted in trying to make me have the coffee as she said that in came with the meal, after stating twice more that I did not want the coffee we went to the Window to pay and collect our meal.The 2 for 1 cost $6.89, our bill was for $10.28 I questioned the cost and was told that taxes accounted for the extra.After checking the recept it showed 1 for 2 breakfast at $6.89 and 2 water at $1.80, where did the water come from,, After having to return to the cashier and pointing out we did not order water or want water, the manager did refund me $2.00.I have orderd from the drive through a mumber of times and never had a problem untill this insadenc, my problem and concern is a few employees at this McDonald's DO require better communication skills and a better understanding of the English language. I also found the washrooms to be dirty and uncared for.
Your typical McDonald's but small, electronic menu is slow. No baby change table in men's bathroom. Bathroom is also very small
