Keep going. The restaurant is cute, it looks like an old steak house. The corners are pretty dirty. The food was very,very bland and dry. No sauces, no seasoning. The server was not friendly. It could be a language barrier possibly, but a smile is universal. . A little flavor, a good scrubbing and a little friendliness would go along way.

While there is not a lot of places to eat in this small town in Nebraska, I am happy that imperial Mexican restaurant is an option. I have had a couple different dishes from here and all of them are average to above average but nothing grand or spectacular. All of the cast or employees that I have came across have been very nice and helpful, though sometimes pretty slow if you dine in. The chips came out warm on my last visit and the salsa is pretty tasty too. I got the grilled chicken fajitas at my last visit for my entrée and they were just OK. Again, not a terrible place but not a top-of-the-line Mexican restaurant but it does suffice for a OK meal.

We have been here a few times. this time has been the very worst. the steak on burrito and fajitas was very tough and no seasoning.. they came once to see if everything was ok and never seen them again we still ate and was going to order dessert and no one ever came back. we got up to go pay and two of the staff was sitting by the register area with their arms around each other. i asked the girl if everyone quit..she looked dumfounded as i explained nobody came back to serve us. The girl said oh..sorry..i paid..was overcharged and left i called ro speak to manager sat on the phone several minutes dor them to come back and say they were not there. they asked how they could help me I explained what happened tonight and she took offense Jimmy saying that the staff was out sitting in the register area with their arms around each other and said it was none of my business I said it is my business when I'm a customer not getting served I then asked about information on the owner she finally gave me the name Renee and said I could call tomorrow when I asked her name she refused to give it to me and said that is her dad anyway so it doesn't matter we will not be treated this way nor not served and charged $68 for three people and the baby and I will let everybody know about it

We had Imperial to go and it was so delicious! The margaritas topped it off! We will defiantly be ordering to go weekly to support them! So delicious ?!!
