Waka Bar Restaurant - Nelson

We went to the new street steakhouse for our end of the year dinner. the service was excellent, very friendly and attentive, we felt really welcome. the food was delicious and the menu extensive, especially the great selection of steaks. our children also enjoyed it, it was a really family-friendly atmosphere. highly recommended.

The older women servicing at the bar must have had a bad day because we were treated with very little respect. Nothing else to say really.

Very slow service, when our food eventually arrived we had to send back my meal after they failed to communicate to the chef what we had ordered. Good spot for drinking but not exactly a great atmosphere for a quiet meal.

Xmas personal party in full gang, people who enjoy dancing to a big dj.

Tonight, we enjoyed wonderful meals and received excellent service from our waitress, Diane. My T-bone steak was cooked to perfection.
