The restaurant was quiet, probably because it was summer. The food was good, but self-service. I had sausages and chips that were excellent. My wife and sister had salads and they enjoyed them. Very friendly service and cheap. It cost our time there.
If you want a quick, easy meal that does not take too much of your valuable ski time Tracouet restaurant is for you. The food is standard mass storage friars, nuggets etc. at an inflatable price due to the location. The alternative is to drive the lift down to the village and eat where the food is much better for a similar price. Most people eat at Tracouet sometime during their vacation. The soups are hearty and cheap. The drinks are very expensive.
Cafeteria-style kitchen without flavour that was served after being kept heated for hours. No joy. Cannot recommend.
Packed at lunch time providing staple meals to fill you up before you head off skiing again. Large portions so I saved money and bought one to share between two children. We love the skinny fries. A meal was about 20CHF per head. A bottle of water 6.50CHF ... so we take our own. The coffee was nice, a bit more pricy than in the village but to be expected.
