We called to say we were going to be late and they said they could hold the table , however when we arrived they said that they gave our table to a walk-in group when the policy of the restaurant is reservation only ....when we mentioned that the guy at the counter said «we make the rules in our restaurant » plus the time sit in time for each table is 2 hours when we were definitely not 2 hours late . Ohhh yeah we are black
Impolite staff members with a really rude attitude and worst costumer service ever. I booked online and I drove in a snowy day and they claimed that they called and told me that they don't take online reservations anymore when they checked the phone number it was even mine and it wasn't matching to the phone number on the online reservation they started shouting in a realy bad way and finally they said it's not their problem then they walked away. It was the worst experience I had ever.
Made reservations for 7pm last night for my moms birthday at the Merivale location. (because they have another location on St Laurent Blvd) We called an hour in advance to let them know we would be 20 minutes late due to the snowstorm. They assured me they would hold our table. We got there and the host was extremely rude and inconsiderate then told me we were late and they never hold anyones table. Which is the exact opoosite of what they told me on the phone. We ahve been long time and frequent customers who give A LOT of our money to this restaurant. We will not be returning. We will turn everyone away from 168 Sushi restuarants. Unbelieveable.
This is the worst sushi we ever had. The edamame was served cold, the whole food was cold, the rice was half cooked. The experience was so awful that we never gonna go back to this place. And the price was unbelievable for the service we had. They need to do about the body smell from the staff. Do the know that deodorant is a thing in Canada? My goodness, it doesn't make any sense for me. Canada health should do something about nthis situation.
