Contribuisci feedbackI had been visiting this restaurant quite a while and it was one of the best until recently. Their staff is very friendly and probably only follow the orders to run the restaurant. They need to change something now to maintain the differentiator values. Last saturday we visited the place along with some of our family relatives and found it to be an average. Keeping Naan/Roti outside the buffet is a pinching approach. By the time bread arrive our lunch was half done by having side dishes. palak paneer needs improvement as it very sour and at times with missing paneer in it. Dosa was not served at 2:00 pm though it was included in lunch pricing and adverised to attract customers. rice pudding was too watery. other veg dishes like chana masala and navratan kurma had lost it's freshness Butter chicken, kadhai chicken, muscles, tanduri chicken and other few items were very good. plain rice with daal makhani was nice. But rice pulao did not have cashew and was too oily, not upto mark.Overall it's on average rating because of good varaity of items, with 50% of them with average taste and moderate value for moneyParking: Good optionsWheelchair accessibility: Good options
We decided to try out the buffet dinner at this restaurant. The entrance was inviting, but there were still some finishing touches needed. The server gave us a few seating options, and although the chairs were comfortable, the dining table looked outdated. The overall appearance of the restaurant seemed a bit old-fashioned. We were looking forward to enjoying the Indian buffet, but unfortunately, many of the dishes did not seem freshly cooked. The Tandoori chicken, Lamb curry, and Butter chicken were disappointing. The only highlight was the Naan bread, which we had to pay for separately as it was not included in the buffet price. It was excellent, one of the best I've ever had. We may reconsider returning to this restaurant in the future. The servers were attentive and even brought us a separate bowl of lamb curry which was much better than what was on the buffet table. I hope the owners take this feedback constructively. I am giving two stars for the Naan and five stars for the servers.
Punjabi biriyani, tasted okay very good quantity and the packaging for takeout was excellent. Felt like it was too pricey for what you get.
I recently dined at East India Company in Ottawa and had a fantastic experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, reminiscent of traditional Indian decor. The menu offered a wide array of authentic Indian dishes, each bursting with flavors and prepared with precision. The service was impeccable, with the staff being attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. I particularly enjoyed the Butter chicken and daal, which was rich and creamy perfectly spiced and aromatic. Whether you're a fan of Indian cuisine or new to it, East India Company is a must-visit for a delightful culinary journey through India's diverse flavours
Went there for lunch today 02 September. The food was good. Unfortunately the waitress was quite rude, which ruined lunch with my family. If you don’t want to hand out cutlery, find another line of work.
