Osmow's Shawarma - Nepean

I've had good experiences at this restaurant in the past, but I was disappointed when they turned off the grill 15 minutes before closing. This has shaken my trust in them.

Before you leave the restaurant, be sure to check if anything is missing from your order, as this has happened to me numerous times. For instance, today I ordered a Greek salad, but they forgot the cheese. I am incredibly frustrated right now and don't have time to return and ask for a new one. They really need to pay more attention when preparing orders. Are you seriously expecting just three falafels in the oz box?

The food here is great! I really enjoy the idea of combining rice with chicken, salad, and sauce on top. The staff is friendly, but they need to pay closer attention to orders or implement a better system. Unfortunately, about 80% of the time, my order doesn't match what I requested at the register.

I chose the falafel on a salad and the Beyond Steak wrap, and I was thoroughly impressed by both. The falafel was delightfully crispy on the outside and perfectly tender on the inside, served atop a fresh fattoush salad. The Beyond Steak wrap was a meat lover's delight, rich and bursting with flavor. The open kitchen allowed me to see the meticulous effort they put into preparing these vegetarian options, demonstrating their passion for their craft. The cleanliness of the restaurant was also remarkable. It was spotless and well-organized, creating a comfortable dining atmosphere. The background music enhanced the inviting vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. In a city where vegetarian dishes are often an afterthought, this shawarma spot truly shines. Whether you’re vegetarian or enjoy meat, there’s something special for everyone. Their commitment to quality, sensitivity to dietary needs, and warm environment make this place a must-visit. I can’t wait to return and try more from their menu. Highly recommended!

I’m really disappointed. This is the second time I’ve encountered the same problem. I asked for a little bit of spice on my beef shawarma, but it turned out to be extremely spicy and completely fell apart. They slathered it in so much hot sauce that it became soggy and disintegrated after just two bites. The last time this happened, I called and they offered me a free shawarma as compensation, but unfortunately, I won’t be returning to Osmow’s at College Square.
