Tavola Restaurant - Nepean

I want to begin by saying that I rarely give five-star reviews to restaurants.

The food is very fresh and the specials are excellent additions to the menu. The portion sizes are good. A delightful meal.

I was pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. The food was outstanding, and I loved the open kitchen and the small yet diverse menu.

Sadly this restaurant is now closed as of mid-Oct 2016. There was not enough clients coming to sustain it despite the great food, reasonable prices and nice ambience. My wife and I miss it and hope. y some chance it will re-open as it was.

I found the staff to be very friendly. I ordered the penne and sausage - even though the penne was a little overcooked, it was tasty (and spicy). The hot buns were a nice touch. There is plenty of room, the decor is nice and the place is clean. I would return if I was going out for supper around that area.
