Local Smoke Bbq Neptune City

Tried the brisket after some recommendations and it was good. By the time I got home it was cold but that's my fault, not theirs. I'm sure if I ate in it would have been amazing. Next time I'll try the ribs and dine in to eat. Mac and cheese was delicious. Corn bread was sweet and moist.

So... Let me tell you although it is a bit pricey but this place was fantastlicious. Staff is friendly and amazing.. ?? the menu was a bit confusing when I order, I honestly got the wrong thing I washed a pulled pork sandwich and when I saw that it wasn't the right thing they just accommodated my n we needs.. for free.. but the best part .. the food... Muah ?? magnific ????I swear to god if I worked at this place I would be like 300lbs and that is why, my friend, you need to eat there. They have their own little restaurant made sauces and rubs that are amazing.. right on the side of the table. You know I love that extra sauce ???... And didn't we all. You need to do to this place. Fugggin BBQ amazing. Also got the collard greens beat sh1t I ate in my whole collard greens mf life... So sorry I ate the food before I took the photo that's how amazing it was. Then I was like omg I need to take a picture haha lmfao

We were in the neighborhood and stopped in for dinner. Ordered sliced beef brisket with potato salad and brussel sprouts, pulled chicken with Mac and cheese and fries, a burger and fried pickles. Almost ninety dollars. The person who took out order took it upon herself to make one of the meals a one side with 4 pieces of cornbread, no idea why. And instead of chicken, we got pork. Didn't notice right away. But when we brought it up, we got a bland apology and we're asked whether there was anything they can do. We just let it go. The food itself was just ok. Have absolutely had better, burger was probably the tastiest bite which is too bad for a BBQ spot. There was a person in the kitchen who for some reason kept staring at us as we ate which later we all agreed made us feel strange. Finally, out of curiosity, I got home and put the same order in on grub hub and they charge about fifty cents more per item. The total ended up being about three dollars less on grub hub. This place is not for us. Won't be going back.

$4.00 for french fries that were the equivalent of a kids size at McDonald I’ve been coming here since they opened and I can honestly say my daughter was not happy with the amount. I think you’ve lost a customer.

I ordered the ribs delivery from DoorDash. Now I could be wrong and if I am corrected I’ll change my review. I always figured ribs were supposed to fall apart, like off the bone from bbq places. These were chewy and not tender except for choice pieces.
