Rooms are modern with adequate facilities like AC,Jug,tea, coffee iron etc. Free on-site parking. Easy access on and off the M1. Shopping close by. Nice bistro Whole building clean and fresh. Great staff.
We were warmly met on our arrival by delightful Sharon. She showed us to our room and explained the different aspects of what was available to us. Our room was lovely and well appointed. We had the best sleep, the bed was sooo comfortable. We had a yummi dinner in the restaurant along with our complimentary glass of wine. We also made use of the bottle shop that is also on the premises. We would certainly be happy to stay here again. M M
Went for lunch and beverage and it was all pretty good. The menu ordering system was having a bit of a trouble loading on my phone and when I went to the counter thr free offer of garlic bread wasn't honoured because it was a phone app promotion only which was a bit poor. Food was pretty good quality but tad overpriced foe what it was a pub meal. Would go again but not likely eat there as better options are available not far away.
The renovations a few years ago have brought this pub up to date nicely with an exterior render and modern design inside in the dining and gaming areas. The menu is a little on the expensive side for a pub but the Commercial Mix share platter is great value at $39 for 2 or more people and includes BBQ pork ribs, calamari, karaage chicken, potato wedges, toasted baguette dipping sauces.
The food was quite good and the place was very neat and tidy, the staff seemed efficient and switched on. We had The Commercial Mix w/ BBQ pork ribs, S P calamari, karaage chicken, potato wedges, toasted baguette dipping sauces. It was ok, the ribs were great and the chicken was good but the rest was average and I'm not sure why it had the baguettes. Overall I thought it was OK as a pub meal.
