Highland Court Chinese Resturant

I have been coming to this restaurant for years and I have never had a bad meal. The takeout service is quick and the portions are generous. I absolutely love this place!

I went from dining at one of the best Chinese restaurants on the coast to one of the worst. My daughter ordered something and about a month later, when she tried it, she ended up with food poisoning. The dish contained a mixture of meat that was questionable, some parts seemed to be spoiled and had a strong smell. Although she complained and apologized, the lack of care from the staff was concerning. We had been loyal customers of this Chinese restaurant since it first opened years ago, but after this incident of receiving expired food, I can no longer trust them. It seems like the owner is playing with the health of their customers like a game of Russian roulette. My only regret is that they do not report these issues to the health department.

I have visited this restaurant in the past few years and have never had a bad meal until tonight. I went with my family and was disappointed from the start. It took a long time for our drinks to arrive, and our waitress, who seemed to be under the influence, had more piercings than brain cells. She forgot the ice in one of the drinks and brought out a lemon drink that was not what we ordered. The food took an hour to come out, and when it did, it was cold and overly salted. When I asked if there was a different chef, I was told there wasn't. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told she had gone home. A man at the bar claimed to be the manager, but he was unhelpful and dismissive. We ended up paying for our meal but were told we should not have to. We left the restaurant feeling disappointed and will never return. I will be reaching out to the new owner, Peter, to let him know about our experience and how the restaurant has declined from when it was owned by Alan.

The Chinese restaurant for family celebration in the other night to the high-land court. although eating was quite good, but not unforgettable was the waiting staff was happy. service was not existent. we also thought eating was expensive compared to other restaurants. the employees must be absolutely. upload your service. probably not back for us.

Food is consistently good! Always attentive wait staff and love that the mother walks around and is very active in everything but so lovely! Good value we go all the time and always love it.
