The owners and the staff are very friendly and helpful. we visited this restaurant three or four times in the last year and were always welcome. free time space with businessmen and families. the meat is really good, they also offer some beautiful fish and other...local products. the wine map reflects the region. I can recommend this place to any meat lover like me.

Very popular restaurant before newchatel. speciality is 'sur ardoise', any form of meat they want. we visited today because the game season has started and they prepare interesting tasty dishes, we recommend it. and I love the 'help itself salatbar' and delicious brot.! a very important note. the owners are wonderful people, the staff is polite, friendly and helpful. good selection of local wines. we had a great evening!

The auberge du chasseur is a beautiful house that is converted into a multi-stage restaurant and also offers a street kitchen with the restaurant on the top floor. the restaurant has 2 floors with a large terrace, which in the summer months and. at suitable days with the Swiss Mountain and the Mountains around Neuchatel and the lac de neuchatel. the restaurant is a pleasant 20-minute drive from neuchatel itself and in a small village and view of the fertile agricultural industry and grazing area around the village fontaines. the service was very welcome. the very professional and personable waitress was very happy to switch between English for me and Swiss franchises to my colleagues and sometimes a combination of both, as I almost every non-English word I tried pronounce. spargel were in the season and were the speciality of the restaurants for the time. we had a series of choices from seafood to a beautiful section of steaks, in their free time cooked on a hot skirt right in front of them. there is an salatable that had free fresh vegetables as they wanted. the brot was so good that they only eat and fill. Of course, the beer, a local brew, excellent and simply perfect for a Friday dinner with friends and colleagues after a long hard week, just to give them the last bit of energy to push through the end of the working day. the food was served in perfect time, no pressure to hurry, but you didn't have to wait. the restaurant also has a parking space, something they do not see very often in Europe and makes it safe to visit. my colleagues swear the restaurant and the staff are always these good, friendly greetings and eating always fresh, perfectly portioned and always wonderfully tasting. the landscape is beautiful and quiet, very relaxing and a wonderful place to stop in the landscape of the Swiss to relax and enjoy a meal. when I'm back in a new chapter, I will definitely come back and visit again.

I come here because it closes the place I work on. the service is good and it is easy to find a parking space. the lunch menu is the same every week. So I do not recommend to go too often. if you like horse meat, you will like the place. they also have the perch filets and some other simple dishes. I never come here to eat so I can't tell you about it. I recommend coming for a simple lunch menu and it is not too expensive. in summer it is nice when the terrace is open. beautiful view of the val de ruz.

Living in the region, I had several meals in this restaurant, and have finally decided to review it , since I think that is more than deserved that they get this recognition. This is the place to go, in the region of Neuchâtel, if you...want to taste the real swiss meat. The restaurant offers the traditional ardoise , with a selection of beef, horse or lamb, and it will be probably one of the best meat that you will taste. I normally go to this restaurant when craving some comfort food, and opt for the ardoise of horse, which is amazingly good. They also offer traditional game food, during the season (October to December), which results in full houses everyday. If you visit the region during that period, make sure to take the time and effort to book a meal here. Be aware that if you are not used to the swiss beef, you will find a difference in the taste since it is stronger than normal. I had this comment from several foreign friends, and myself in the start. You 're basically feeling and tasting the meat quality. Take note that the restaurant is located in Fenin, a small village close to Neuchâtel. If you take the bus 421 you will arrive there quickly.
