Contribuisci feedback9 of us turned up on spec asking if we could eat? The chef, one of the family who own this fantastic place, came out asked if we minded the garden, we didn’t it was a hot day and the river was right outside, and we had a fantastic Sunday lunch. Terrific service, wonderful food, idyllic spot. Absolutely outstanding. Make a special trip to this hotel and restaurant you won’t regret it.
The four course dinner (including a 2 course dessert) was outstanding, the accompanying wines were the finest selection. Service outstanding!!!!! This hidden gem is worth a visit for the ones that appreciate an innovative meal from beginning to end. Highly recommmended!!
Certainly worth a visit, but they're still working on it. The dishes were inventive often, but the service is always a problem (we've gone twice). You can see that they haven't studied it seriously yet. The staff is nice certainly, but they do not seem aware of the importance of service that is at the level of the cuisine they wish to attain. Where the client is treated as if their pleasure is important...The prices are high, 50€ for the sitdown lunch, one expected more natural courtesy and soins..One wishes that instead of wanting to be like a French resto they woud concentrate on the highest level of their own beautiful country's version of care, Gemütlichkeit presented with elegance. Hard to describe the fine differrences. In any case certainly to go once for the fantasy of the cook.
