Schwan - Neuss

The Schwan has very crunchy yet soft vegan Schnitzels, amazing texture! We spent a very cosy, romantic November evening here. The staff is friendly, there are some vegan options and also plant milk for hot drinks! Recommended!

The menu offers a few (room for improvement! vegan options which are clearly marked on the menu. I tried the chia pumpkin seed burger Mona Lisa with the only vegan dip on offer (avocado dip and was positively surprised. It was one of the best burgers I 've eaten so far with a really delicious patty and sauce, wild herb salad, pickled cucumbers and peach relish. Together with the fries the portion was very generous. Nice and central location.

The vegan offer in the swan is “well meant”. It is worth noting that vegan and vegetarian dishes are very well-marked on the map and you obviously try to offer a vegan selection. You can also order any carving dish with vegan schnitzel. Unfortunately, Rahm-Krautsalat comes as a supplement. Before ordering, I had asked if the dish with vegan scavenger is completely vegan (why a wise concept) and it was hunted. The vegan burger is a bit dry and all pomegranates (except ketchup) are vegetarian. There is a need for improvement in the vegan offer. Overall, the dishes are not super high quality, but good for the price. The staff is friendly.

I tried the chia pumpkin seeds burger mona lisa with the only vegan dip in the offer (avocado dip) and was positiw surprised. it was one of the best burgers that I have eaten so far with a really delicious patty and sauce, wild crawler salad, pickled gurken and peach relish. together with the riders was the part very generous. beautiful and central location.
