A block away from the ferry stop on the lower north shore resides this gem of a restaurant. A true local favourite, the place is popular in the early evening with local families and their school aged children. Later the atmosphere mellows and it evolves into a perfect spot for a romantic meal with that special someone. The staff are friendly and efficient - always available - but never obtrusive. Highly recommended!
Good as a local or takeaway. BYO and friendly authentic service. Pretty good range of traditional dishes and easy to get to from the ferry.
The night before an orthopedic operation at Royal North Shore we went to this great restaurant just down the road from the hotel. It was the second time we have done this and both times were excellent. You need to get there very early- there is a family rush from locals- or a bit later after 7.30 or 8 pm. Booking is advised. It is good to great Thai food and definitely recommended.
Called in for a late brekky and waited 30 minutes for our food. Our eggs benedict arrived looking good, but topped with mayonnaise - ick! Our other order of poached eggs on toast arrived with a side of bacon, another 15 mins before the eggs arrived.
