Kreta Taverne Kunos - Neuwied

Als Vorspeise wählte ich einen Auberginensalat, der hier sehr lecker ist. Zum Hauptgang gab es Gyros für mich und Souvlaki für meine Frau, beide Gerichte waren köstlich gewürzt. Einziger Kritikpunkt war der Salat, dem es an Würze fehlte, aber mit etwas Essig und Öl war er dann perfekt. Das Ambiente ist ganz einfach griechisch: nüchtern, rustikal und gemütlich. Die Sauberkeit im Restaurant und auf den Toiletten ist einwandfrei. Alles in allem war es ein gelungener Abend in der Kreta Taverne Kunos.

In dem Restaurant nimmt die Bedienung zuerst einen Hund auf den Arm, streichelt ihn und bringt dann Essen und Getränke. Total inakzeptabel, nie zuvor so etwas Unhygienisches erlebt??

The food was good. The appetizer, dalmadakia, probably in the microwave. Wine was okay. The service too. The operation could only take the card numbers. The Greek names were strange to her. Strange for a Greek restaurant.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the food there. It was tastefully okay, but not particularly outstanding. It did not seem to be truly authentic Greek, and the staff did not even know the Greek names of the dishes we had to call them the numbers. In addition, we were calculated too much when paying. Were there the first and last time.
