Peterson's Corner - Nevada City

After digging out from the recent snow, Peterson's had a good crowd of locals enjoying food and drinks. My wife and I had a blast, with Stephanie and Kim bartending. Great local bar, with great folks. Pull up a barstool and enjoy.

Friendly staff. Old school charm. Only negative is very small men's bathroom. But it can be overcome.

Food is just bar grub. But this place is a must visit. It goes off after dark. The people watching is absolutely unparalleled. The day bar tender is kind and helpful. She was on it!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. They serve delicious, ice-cold draft beers and their Taco Tuesday is fantastic. The bartenders are extremely friendly, and it seems like the regulars are too. As a newcomer to the area, I felt very welcomed here. The restaurant has a pinball machine, video games, pool tables, darts, and multiple televisions playing sports or movies. The hamburgers and fries were also excellent.

I visited this restaurant while covering the Rices Fire for news. I only had time to park and quickly figure out where I was going, but the smell coming from the parking lot was amazing. I will definitely be returning with my wife for a day trip.
