Sushi In The Raw - Nevada City

A little too many dishes with mango lol, but the sushi dishes are definitely really, really good. I must admit I had my doubts, but there’s a couple of these dishes that have a nice balance of lemon kicker man. This place is a must try.

This is a truly exceptional place. I think I might be addicted to sushi—actually, I definitely am. Sushi in the Raw left me genuinely impressed. The food is not only creatively crafted and elegantly presented, but each dish features unique flavors that elevate the dining experience. The service is friendly and perfectly attentive without being overbearing. I absolutely love everything about this restaurant!

I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant, where the service was both exceptional and prompt. The dishes feel like they come from a professional chef's perspective on sushi, featuring some unique options like truffle sashimi that boast bold flavor combinations. Personally, I prefer a subtler approach, so I highly recommend the salmon sashimi. They offer the largest portions I've seen at any sushi place in the area, all at a very reasonable price. The presentation is also impressive— for example, the salmon sashimi is elegantly arranged to resemble a rose, which you can check out on their website. Their shooters are great too! I tried the scallop with shochu, and they even have a delightful sweet sake that pairs well with it if you enjoy sweeter drinks. Overall, I believe a visit here is well worth it. Given the quality of the food, everything on the menu is quite reasonably priced.
