The bar tender was so incredibly friendly and happy to offer drink suggestions. The wait staff was courteous as well. We were brought to the cavern and told that it used to be an old wine celler, so it is chilly. They have heaters available for that reason. Once seated, we ordered all kinds of appetizers, entrees and desserts and every one of them was delicious. Definitely recommended!
We had a fantastic Saturday dinner at the Stone House. Our server, Delana went above and beyond for us- she went back and forth with the bartender, making sure our drinks were to our liking, she helped make our friend’s birthday special, and she was very knowledgeable of the menu as well as the local area, giving us many recommendations. The food was incredible- highlights were the pesto pizza and the lemon crème brûlée. This should be your go to for a fun dinner out in the Grass Valley area, I can’t recommend it enough! Thank you to Delana and crew for making our night out so special!
Rad venue for small shows. I wish they had some kind of snacks… Some castleveltrano olives marcona almonds, maybe some fancy cheese n crackers, etc would fit in well with the cocktail selection and small mocktail menu. Every beverage I’ve had here has been fantastic only thing I’d add to the menu aside from snacks would be a mocktail or two that is less on the sweet side.
Have seen some good shows here, but it's compact. And drunk people can be challenging. Not the venues fault. But I'm rating my overall experience.
The food was great, nice atmosphere but the waiter’s unwillingness to provide separate checks for two couples and lying about Sierra Nevada Brewery being owned by Budweiser just pissed us off. I’ve been in the restaurant business and there is no good reason not to provide separate checks when a party requests them other than complete laziness. And Sierra Nevada Brewery is still family-owned and operated. Check the facts!
