Agave Rye - New Albany

It says Epic Tacos on the building and it was so true. The food was absolutely fantastic and came in generous portions. The service was even better. They had the best Brussels sprouts I've ever had. I had a taco with tater tots, salsa, queso, a fried egg and a few candied jalapenos on top. Whoever put that one together is a genius. The decor is funky and gorgeous. The staff was attentive, friendly, good at their jobs and actually seemed happy to be there. You will not bedisappointed if you visit this great restaurant.

Literally the BEST taco I've ever eaten other than my wife's. I'll be back. Place was clean, staff was nice, sat at the bar but didn't drink(left a good size tip).

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of the restaurant. The wooden horse decoration was quite impressive. My server, Amy, was very friendly and helpful; she walked me through the menu and highlighted the vegan options. I tried the faux Gen Tso taco, and it was delicious! The fries were cooked to perfection and served hot. I also liked the idea of the red and green cards to signal whether you’re just relaxing (red) or need something (green). I dined on the patio, and it was nice to see a couple of young women with their leashed dog, which means I can bring my own dog next time!

We had an incredible dining experience at Agave and Rye. While visiting for a wedding, we were thrilled to find it within walking distance of our Airbnb. Paige was extremely helpful and provided us with outstanding recommendations. The food and margaritas were nothing short of amazing. I highly recommend trying the Epic Margarita and the sticky cauliflower bites!

Oh, please give me more Agave and Rye!!! Our walking group visited this restaurant for lunch, and wow, it was amazing! I had the best taco I've ever tasted—I've had my fair share of tacos, and this one took the cake! I ordered the "Plain Jane," and it was the quintessential taco—absolutely perfect! They offer a wide variety of tacos, and next time, I might try one of the more unique options. We also ordered their chips and queso, which was wonderfully cheesy and not at all spicy—just how I like it! Our server did an excellent job handling our large group, especially since they were busy and had plenty of staff. It truly felt like dining out the way it used to be (before Covid). Thank you, Agave; I can’t wait to come back with more friends!
