Ella Restaurant Bar - New Albany

This is my third visit to Ella, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I've had so far. The food was just okay; I've certainly enjoyed better on my previous visits. I was quite disappointed with our waiter. He seemed very rushed and barely engaged with us—he just didn’t seem to have the time to be attentive. When you're paying that much, you deserve better service. I might consider giving it one more chance in the future, but that will be my last. It’s a nice place overall, but they need to improve significantly.

The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was lovely. The service was outstanding as well. I will definitely come back when I’m in the area!

We were seated right away and had a knowledgeable server. After ordering our drinks, we ended up waiting quite a while. The server apologized and explained that the bar was busy, and he graciously offered to comp our drinks for the four of us. On a positive note, the food was excellent and a great value. The entrees were so generous that we didn't even need salads or appetizers. Both my husband and I chose one of the evening's specials, which were very nice. The warm complimentary bread was fantastic as well! Overall, it was a lovely experience.

Went there for the first time for Sweetest Day, unsure of what to expect. We were there later in the evening which meant that most of the specials were no longer available. Although that was disappointing, I was satisfied with my order.

This restaurant was recommended by our B&B host and it did not disappoint! My scallops were the best I've ever had please try them if you go! It was unusually busy for a Monday night but the service was still great. I only wish it was a little quieter sound was bouncing off the concrete floors and walls which made it less than romantic. If they improve the ambiance, this place could be in my top 5!
