Sugaree's Bakery - New Albany

We were impressed by the friendly customer service and helpful recommendations from the staff. We even chatted about how eating cake when it's frozen is the best, and I couldn't help but let out a squeal of delight when I spotted the cheesecake. My son and I decided to indulge a bit and bought a couple of cake slices, while I treated myself to an extra brownie. My mother was thrilled with the tarts I picked out for her as well. If we find ourselves in the area again, we will certainly return to this delightful bakery. *Update:* The cakes and brownies were absolutely delicious!

Sugaree's bakery is a national treasure. I pay obscene amounts of money to ship their cakes to me out of state because they are the best cakes I've ever had. Best cake flavors are strawberry, caramel, and coconut. And I don't even really like coconut cake..... At least I thought I didn't.

The cooking class held on the last Sunday of the month is an absolute blast! We took the Pizza and Pasta Gnocchi class, and it was fantastic. Afterwards, we bought some items from the bakery, and they were delicious!

I took a chance on ordering a red velvet cake from an online bakery, and I’m so glad I did. It’s honestly the best red velvet cake I’ve ever tasted! It arrived frozen with dry ice, so we let it thaw in the fridge overnight, then brought it to room temperature on the counter. The cake was incredibly delicious and moist, with that classic red velvet flavor. I would definitely order it again!

We went to Ripley's family, but my son and I were in New Albany. (The house where we should stay was the mess with my asthma) we needed to do something before we get my mother in Ripley. So we went to downtown New Albany and this Bakery caught my eye. We enjoyed the customer service and suggestions we were given. We also talked about how food cakes were the best. I'm not sure if they hear me screaming in joy when I saw the cheesecake. My son and I bought some slices of cake, I bought an extra brownie for me and my mother enjoyed the tarts I bought for her. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely visit. *update* the cakes and brownies were delicious
