Adobe NB, LLC - New Braunfels

Adobe cafe has been for years, the local large Tex sex with a healthy option. they have added more and more vegetarian and vegan options in the last 5 years or so. the veggie tacos are exactly as described, sauteed veggies in a mais tortilla. they cooked without meat. the grilled vegetables, both as fajitas and as a teller, was my favorite for a decade. these are large pieces of zuccini, yellow squash, mushrooms, wobble tomaten - all grilled and easily served with vegan beans and curcume rice. I love it! They will cook them even with little or no oil! the best part is that they also have options for my non-vegan family members. what more can they ask from a restaurant? I tried to think of a contrast. sometimes the waiting time is long.

My husband and I ordered the crispy taco dinner. The food is always fresh tasting and hot. Great customer service at the bar where we ate.

We have dined here many many times. More recently we have had some not so great experiences. Last night I made the comment to my husband that it was the best the food has been in a very long time. Everything was hot and fresh and our server Olivia was great. Even tho she was busy she took the time to converse with us as if we actually mattered. Yesterday was a really bad day for us and we just needed a break from life for a bit and she helped to make our day better without even knowing. She was attentive to our drinks and our meal was out super quick. All around the experience was a 15 out of 10!!! Great Job!!!!

Simply outstanding! Not your typical Tex-Mex cuisine...it's better!

Love this restaurant so much . The food is always amazing and the service is amazing , we continue to come because of Larry the waiter who has been at adobe for over 29 years . I grew up coming here and I can’t wait to bring my kids someday too .
