I tried the flight of homemade beers and the Reuben sandwich that was recommended. The beer sampling was good and most had good flavor. See details below. The sandwich was very good with the house made Russian dressing being the kicker. The place seemed a little dark for a brewery. Overall, I recommend it. Polka Pilsner tasty, but not memorable. No aroma at all;
The Faust Brewing Company was a neat little brewery to visit. The outside was barren but that's to be expected in 100+ Texas temp. Inside was nice and cool. Very pub-ish. Willie the bar man was super nice and knowledgeable. Really enjoyed the place and would recommend a visit.
The beers are really nice, such a laid back atmosphere, really good spot to catch some live music. Everything you could want from a local taproom. Go see Price, he knows his beer chops and will take good care of you.
My sister and I are in town for a couple of days to relax. We always like to sample local restaurants when traveling and she picked this place because she loves craft beer. I loved the charm of the old hotel lobby and restaurant. We did have a short wait once seated due to a larger party paying their tab. Staff came by and apologized multiple times for the wait and went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable. We asked for food recommendations and we ordered chips and salsa, a club sandwich, tacos, and a craft beer flight. Everything we had was excellent. The portions were large and pricing was moderate. We highly recommend. A hidden little gem that we will definitely visit again!
We have gone to this historic setting in New Braunfels for a few years now. Service is always excellent and the restaurant manager is attentive to every table, no matter how busy it is. Very good people person with customer satisfaction and skill.
