Roma - New Britain

Omg... the first time here in person... to eat at the bar... as dining room closed... at night dinner... I think the last time I had eaten at Roma, it was food (I remember that it was also delicious)... Great service...waitstaff was excellent/ friendly...everyone was...real!!! My Cheeseburger was amazing... I didn't have a long time... a special treat... The prices were pretty good...it was reasonable...for the food OUT!!! I usually cook at home... I dared to eat only rarely. It was certainly a treat... to eat at Roma!!! I will definitely return... because the food was delicious, the staff was amazing... and the atmosphere was very comfortable!!!

Roma is one of the institutions in New Britain, each of which has gone sometime. For us surrounded mousses we remember Roma as a town bar with a small dining area. Roma has developed since then. The bar and menu have expanded, there are outdoor seating, the atmosphere is lively and the crowd includes not only locals, but also territorial entrepreneurs and past city officials. Roma could be out of the beaten path, but it is worth the trip.

I ordered a steak cheese foot and chicken strip with frits. Both were terrible. The grinder was so salty and spicy that I couldn't eat it. The chicken strips were small and the frits were gay. When I called to place the order, I asked how many strips come in this meal, I was told 4 and they are a good size! The strips I have, where not bigger than my index finger! Awful! I spent $30 and my daughter and I are totally unhappy!

Good food. But I think it's a bit on the expensive side. Can't talk much about the atmosphere inside because ive always picked up or got delivery. But they add a good amount of money for shipping costs. Edit as an answer to the remaining owners reply to my review. I agree that the change in times will change the way companies work in order to agree to inflation and still take place to their customers. Thank you for your answer!!

Food is disgusting!! Idk what happened. I use to love this place but more recently it has gone extremely downhill. I?m not understanding the prices for the quality they are giving. Dog food. Threw a fry on the floor my dog sniffed it and turned around. That saying something right there because dogs eat ANY everything.
