The quality was good, but not exceptional—everything was fresh. We shared an interesting guacamole that came with roasted paprika and garlic, along with what seemed like homemade tortilla chips. I thought the chips could have used a little salt, but they were definitely fresh. I ordered a cauliflower taco that was intriguing, while my daughter enjoyed her taco filled with chimichurri steak. For dessert, we tried the peach cake, which had a somewhat gooey filling that wasn’t exactly what I envisioned for a peach dish, but it was still quite tasty. Overall, though, I don’t think I’ll be returning.
We had a great time! Our waiter was very attentive and quick.
Miguel was an outstanding server. The beef steak was tender and flavorful, and the al pastor tacos were delicious, while the shrimp taco wasn't overly fishy.
The dining experience was disappointing due to the poor service. We weren't offered menus by the hostesses and had to ask twice for both the meal and drink menus. We even had to request help from a busboy to get our drinks and refills of chips with salsa. The overall service felt lacking. Additionally, despite making a reservation, we were seated in the noisy bar area, which was certainly not appreciated.
Great food, great fun, festive. Noisy and crowded so don't go if you want quiet.
