Bentwood Tavern - New Buffalo

The food was excellent, especially the Lobster Benedict and Squash Flatbread. The atmosphere was fantastic, perfect for meeting a friend with open, airy views of the harbor. The service was top-notch with an exceptional and personable server who paid close attention to detail.

We cannot express enough how incredible our experience was at this restaurant! The renovation is stunning, elegant, and incredibly inviting. Our server Olive was excellent, and the General Manager Kathleen was incredibly welcoming and accommodating (we love her!). The Chef even visited our table, making us feel truly special. Our bartender crafted a delicious martini. We left feeling pampered and satisfied. The food experience had a welcoming and sharing-forward atmosphere that suited our tastes perfectly. The wait for the renovation was well worth it. This restaurant is a must-visit for a truly exceptional dining experience.

I visited this restaurant while staying at a cottage just a 5-minute walk away. I enjoyed it so much the first time that I went back the next night as well. The food and service were excellent.

Overall, great time. The prices are little over the top for the product. $33 for an Angel 's Envy Old Fashion is a little much. I get the top shelf version, but even that bottle is only $100. There is nothing special that warrants that hike of price. I know, I don 't have to order it, but when you love Old Fashions and enjoy tasting from different places, I couldn 't help myself. I 'm harping on one thing. Overall, it really is a great place. Staff was so friendly, and looking over the harbor with all the boats was an added bonus. I was requested to add that the Tavern Burger and apple cake was amazing.
