Cafe New Castle

I visited Cafe New Castle for a quick meal with my friend, and the food was fantastic! The service was outstanding, and the staff were incredibly friendly. I highly recommend it! 10/10!

Charming little restaurant/café on Newcastle Main Street. The food is excellent and well-portioned. They also have a bar for those who want to enjoy a night out. No oversized servings here. The potatoes were fantastic. The menu is concise, making it easier to decide. I deducted a star due to limited drink options for children and higher prices.

Our party of four, fortunately likes to share, so we were all able to experience 4 different delicious menu items on our visit. Everything was fresh and tasty! Great ambiance in the dinning hall. The outside seating looked nice as well, but we sat in the breezeway, nice and bright from all the skylights. Our server, Leif, rounded out our experience; he is knowledgeable about the menu, where the products come from, and the history of the building and a great deal of other interesting things! Leif, congratulations on getting your degree, but I don't wish you so much success that you won't stay on for at least one shift a week!

First thing to know, everything about this place is slow. If you are in a hurry, don't go. I ordered an egg cheese bacon muffin, my wife did eggs toast and bacon. It took about 25 minutes for the order to come out. Coffee had to be brewed while we were there. I had an empty coffee cup for 15 minutes. Strange that coffee, in a cafe, isn't just always ready. Overall though food was good and the staff were nice. The cafe is quaint in a good way.
