Golden Wok - New Castle

This is the best Chinese restaurant in town, hands down. Their General Tso's chicken is unbeatable. It's a wonderful establishment run by a great family, and they're always so friendly. Just a heads up, they’re closed on Mondays and only accept cash, but those small inconveniences are worth it for the fantastic Chinese food you get.

Attempting to read the menu is quite a laugh. Plus, if you spend enough on your order, you receive a complimentary liter of soda—though the options are quite unusual and not your typical Coke, Pepsi, or Mountain Dew. Oh, and be prepared to pay in cash only. On the bright side, the food is actually quite good!

Fantastic food and a charming, welcoming staff. This is definitely the best restaurant in town!

Wow! The food here is absolutely amazing! It's the best Chinese food I've had between New Castle and Chinatown! I'm so grateful that they're offering takeout; I would have rather gone hungry than choose that buffet. I ordered a lunch special that included broccoli and shrimp served with rice, and the spring rolls were incredibly delicious and crispy—so YUMMY! I also enjoyed some soup with extra crispy noodles. Now I just need to relax in my recliner for a bit!

I got tired of Chinese buffets, but Golden Wok offers food that's far superior. The dishes come out piping hot and fresh, bursting with flavor instead of tasting bland and similar to one another. Their lunch options are a fantastic value, as are all of their meals. I never have to overindulge to feel like I got my money's worth, and I often have leftovers to enjoy later.
