Kings Head - New Forest

During a long weekend visit to Lymington, we visited on our first night but they were fully booked. Booked a table for our last night. Relaxed ambience, nice decor, very helpful and friendly staff and the food was excellent. We had a very pleasurable couple of hours here and a most enjoyable experience. Thank you..

We found the staff to be friendly and the service efficient, they were always happy for us to sit at reserved tables until someone turned up for them. Beer good if a bit pricey.

Sometimes you just have to act on impulse. my wife and I had made a Sunday afternoon afternoon sleep, and when we passed the pub we could smell food. the conversation went like that. that smells good, wouldn't it be nice to have someone who cooks today? this place is almost 300 years old, so has character. the broken halloumi and chips were right. we were in and out within an hour. and they had tabasco. all in all a good incentive of the moment choice.

This is a beautiful pub with a fantastic ambiente without tw and many great tables for friends and families to gather. they have a beautiful wood burner that makes it a very cozy place to be. they would find it hard to go in there and not end up in a conversation and maybe find new friends. the guinness is good, and the personal pleasant, but the price of the drinks was a little above the tip. there would have been five if it weren't so expensive!
