E J'S At Baden Tavern - New Hamburg

I had the PB Burger. I never would have a burger with peanut butter on it, but I was curious. I would recommend anyone to try this.

The patio is especially pleasant on good weather. Attentive staff and great specials.Parking: Lots of spaces.

Place looks amazing. The new renovations are spectacular. Food is excellent. Staff are super friendly and efficient. Will definitely be dining here again.

Cold beer, good selection on the menu but out of a reservation for 13 the 76 yr old great grandmother 's fish and chip that was the daily special was forgotten and delivered when the rest of us was done eating. When the owner/waiter was questioned he said he didn 't understand what the problem was. Her meal wasn 't forgotten it was being 'prepped '. He was ignorant to all of us, said he wouldn 't have minded watching all other 12 people eat. When the 76 yr old mentioned it to him his response was that she was the rudest person he ever served. Better yet he said the only one that was polite was 'him ' who is a 17 yr old girl!!!! Her uncle said that he was ignorant because that 's a GIRL. He tried to say he mentioned 'you guys '....We had to ask for condiments, reservation was for 7pm and food don 't start to come out until after 8pm. When asked about that, his response was that our appetizers for 3 people was the reason that our meal didn 't come sooner.The next issue was the TIP... It 's an automatic 18% gratuities calculated on the bill automatically. We stayed that we were paying cash and NOT paying the TIP he said he would call the police. I said okay, did you charge the elderly person for her meal, his response was why wouldn 't he?Seriously!!!!????Coming in from Sudbury to visit family this restaurant was recommended and 'let 's support small businesses ' but this place isn 't worth your time, money or to be abused by the owner.

The service was terrible. We had reservations for 6 :00, didn't eat until 7:30. The waitress came once in that time. Brought out of town guests was so embarrassed for suggesting this place. Used to be excellent What the heck happened? New ownership?. The schnitzel was extremely thin, dry , swiss cheese used was slices. Wing night is good for takeout, but other than that,,, terrible. Keep this penny pinching up on your quality of food, won't be in buisiness much longer. We won't be back
