Boil Shack (new Hartford)

Very expensive for what you get.. had plastic silverware, paper cups, you have to go to the counter and place your order after getting seated, food was just OK nothing great, portions could be bigger, waiters don't come to the tables and check up on you. Had high expectations they didn't meet or come close. Red lobster is 100% better experience in my opinion. My child had the lobster boil and puked twice tonight. (Maybe it had something to do with it)

We ordered 1lb of king crab and 1lb of snow crab, there was no way it was a 1lb of each. we were told there was no corn, but 2 orders after us had corn. half of what we wanted they were out of. for the price we paid you would think you would have actual plates and silver wear, but instead it was all plastic throw away. the lady taking our order had no idea what was what. overall not impressed at all. we could have bought all the stuff at wegmans and made our own, been stuffed full and saved money!

This was the worst experience from boil shack ever The. Flavor was disgusting the smell poor the spice wasn’t even there. You have just lost a weekly customer as I have been dining with boil shack New Hartford since you opened. Some change is good but what you have done is turn a good menu to a poor business decision… Your old customer bids you farewell

Food was fresh. The staff were so friendly and the food was so delicious! I go there every chance I get!!

Scrumptious. I got 1 lb. of crawfish with beef sausage and 1 lb. of mussels. The crawfish were plump, flavorful and covered with a suitably spicy Punish Me Sauce. The mussels were similarly flavorful but covered in a delicious butter garlic sauce. When you get delivery you get the entire set- bibs, gloves, food, a durable boil bag. And if you have bread on hand when you finish the food, the sauce should not go to waste. It is on the pricey side for a meal, coming in at $37 before delivery fees and $53 after. But as a once in a while treat, this is a well worth spot checking out.
