Great service, great food. Very busy at the time and they had love music going on right after we arrived so to get everything out and to us quickly and done perfectly was amazing. Fries had a little too much salt but really digging for something to complain about at this point :-p
I went with my friend to Piggy Pats last Wednesday evening. It was around 6:30pm when we were seated in a half empty dining room. They closed at 9:00 that night, so I felt as though we arrived at the perfect time to receive great service and quality food. Our waiter greeted us, he was a tall guy, brunette, maybe in his 30s, tattoos. I described him because he didn’t introduce himself so I have no other way of identifying him. He came over and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. No eye contact. No hello. And smacking his chewing gum. Anyway, we ordered the brisket nachos and received a plate of cold, beef jerky-like brisket over cold chips, with sprinkled shredded cheese and a tablespoon of sour cream. We were speechless when he set down the appetizer, but he ran away so quickly we had no choice but to try to choke them down. We finally had to flag him down to ask for 2 sides of sour cream because it was truly difficult to eat the nachos. We finally ordered our entrees. My friend ordered the ribs with brisket and I got the “3 little piggies” with brisket and pulled pork. Both myself and my friend got a side of Mac and cheese which was wonderful, but my sandwiches were dry and cold. Our waiter didn’t come over during the entirety of our dinner to ask for refills on our drinks, yet he was standing at the hostess booth chatting with other employees. I had a white claw and my friend had a blue light. Finally he came over at the conclusion of our meal to take our plates away and ask us if we’d like another beverage. As my friend went to pay the bill, he accidentally dropped his credit card and it landed directly in front of the waiters feet. Instead of politely picking up the card for us, the waiter rudely tells my friend “you dropped your card, dude” and made my friend pick up the card from nearly under his feet. Both my friend and I come from years of food/customer service backgrounds, so we always like to give food service staff the benefit of the doubt. However, this was an exceptionally bad and expensive experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $100+ Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3
