Adrianas - New Haven

I had my first visit there, and it did not disappoint at all. The server was outstanding; she was knowledgeable about the wines and the evening's specials. The food was fantastic. We ordered a variety of appetizers and entrees to share, and every dish was exactly right. The atmosphere is lovely, and there's plenty of parking available. I can't wait to return!

The new person you hired at the front desk has repeatedly come across as unfriendly, disconnected from the guests, and certainly not welcoming. He seems more interested in chatting with his friends than engaging with customers, and he appears annoyed by any interruptions. In the past, we always felt genuinely welcomed and valued upon arrival, thanks to warm and friendly staff. Unfortunately, that atmosphere seems to have vanished. It's disappointing because the welcoming environment is such an important part of the dining experience, and it used to be exceptional at Adriana's. I’m not familiar with the details of your operations, but I can say that the new front desk employee lacks people skills and may be detrimental to your business—this is just my opinion.

The party room easily accommodated 56 guests. As soon as we shouted "surprise," the staff quickly began serving food after the guest of honor was seated. Our table of 10 enjoyed a remarkable array of dishes, including two trays of salad, two trays of calamari, and two trays of antipasto featuring roasted peppers, sliced tomatoes, mozzarella, prosciutto, and dried sausage. We were also provided with two baskets of Italian bread. Following that, we were served two platters of meatballs, two platters of penne vodka, and two platters of sausage with broccoli rabe. Throughout the event, the staff continually refreshed our wine, soda, and water glasses. The food was not only delicious but also abundant, and they kindly boxed up the leftovers upon the hosts' request. Overall, the experience was fantastic, with outstanding continuous service and the added bonus of taking home extra food. It was a complete success. We had a pleasant light meal featuring salads and calamari. The food was quite tasty, and the portion sizes were generous. The service was exceptional. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I just enjoyed a fantastic family-style meal with a group of 15 at Adrianna's. The food was incredible, from the burrata and tomato appetizer to the chicken cordon bleu; everything was cooked flawlessly. I was especially impressed by how effectively the staff handled such a large group. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the New Haven area.
