Family Mediterranean Pizza - New Haven

We ordered the steak and cheese sub, and it was fantastic! The toasted sub bread was perfectly crispy, warm, and buttery. The balance of cheese, steak, and bread was just right! The staff were very welcoming and friendly, adding to the great experience.

My wife and I really enjoyed the lamb shawarma. We've visited several other restaurants in downtown, but this one is definitely the best. The food was great and the prices were reasonable. We also loved the dessert, Harissa—a delicious cake made with honey and coconut.

Friendly owners, an extensive menu, quick and friendly service, and great quality for the price.

The picture I took doesn’t do the dish justice. I was waiting for my wife to leave Yale hospital, and I was starving. Luckily, I stumbled upon this place. The vegetarian platter with WARM pita was PERFECT for $16.99! The falafel was FRESH and CRISPY. The salad was citrusy. YUM!!! All around a great option if you’re around Yale Hospital.
