Pasta Eataliana Trattoria Napoletana

My partner and I shared an arugula salad; I had the penne with lamb and squash, while he enjoyed the paccheri with eggplant. Our little one had the spaghetti pomodoro with burrata, my daughter had the calamari with shrimp, and my oldest opted for the tagliatelle bolognese. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were perfectly sized. We’ll definitely return the next time we're in New Haven. If you're in the area, I highly recommend this restaurant. We take our food seriously, especially our pasta, and this place was just perfect.

We ordered frittatine di pasta as appetizers, along with margherita pizza, tagliatelle alla bolognese, and grilled salmon for our main courses, all via takeout. The service was quick.

Probably my favorite Italian spot I've ever tried in New Haven. The food is so fresh!! I don't even know what else to say besides amazing!

Pasta Eataliana is yet another fantastic Italian restaurant in New Haven. The restaurants space is small, and it was bustling and loud. We had a hard time choosing from the extensive list of appetizers, pastas, pizzas, and entrees; but we were more than happy with our choices. We started with mozzarella stuffed zucchini blossoms and fried dough topped with mortadella, pistachio pesto and fresh ricotta. Despite being fried, both dishes were light (exactly what I was hoping for). Then we had the short rib ziti and the pasta Bolognese with mushrooms. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. The dishes were served hot and fast. That was fine with me! We were too full to try any more food, but are already making plans to go back and sample more from their menu. That was most definitely the best fried dough I've ever had and it made me forget that I didn't even have pizza while on Wooster Street. I can't wait to return!!

Between the atmosphere, kind engaging staff, and the amazing food, this is a gem..a must when in New Haven
