Sally's Apizza, LLC - New Haven

Just before a week to connecticut. we should be looking for new haven for a great pizza. holy cow, they were not wrong. we need to be on Sunday after 15 minutes after opening at sally’s. we had to wait 30 minutes to get a table. I can imagine you'll have to wait for dinner longer. whatever that is waiting, it is absolutely worth it. the pizza was amazing, we had a pfefferoni, kartoffel rosmarin, a white pizza and took a sausage pizza after house! everything was incredible, the potato pizza was excellent, had never before, but I would recommend getting a small pizza to try it. the carburized crust and the teig are so delicious it is hard to put in cake when they have the time to eat them here. the staff was great, super friendly and very helpful, as it first had eaten there. I can't wait to go back!

Sally is the best pizza spot in new oase hands down. here are the cheese, meatball/peperoni and whistle casino. everyone was phenomenal, even if they were on a 15-minute drive. pizza was still hot and there was another flop. can never go wrong with a cheese or a clam. wanted to put two meats together and this selection was not bad either. tony’s total review was a 9.2 love this stuff! when they are far away trying to eat it while its hot do not let it sit in the box.

My only experience with sally’s was better than any new experience I had with pepe. I am a long-term fan of pepe’s, but my understanding was perhaps changed. the cakes are so similar, but the sauce at sally’s was better. since this was my first visit, I decided to sit in the inner to experience the ambiente. it's an old pizza place and it doesn't look like something changed in decades. pizza was great, service was good.

You can't really talk about pizza until you tried new haven pizza. sally 's is one of the original 3 'apizza' places in new haven, founded and successfully operated for decades by Italian immigrants from the region neapel. their coal-fired thin crust pussies are carburized for perfection and the ingredients are of the highest quality. it is an authentic experience that they have to try out themselves. enjoy!

Absolutely lives up to the hype. Tried the classic tomato and cheese pie and the fresh basil white. Both incredible. Best pizza I've ever had. The hostess saw that I didn't know how the takeout process worked and brought my pizzas out to me curbside.
