The Mory's Association - New Haven

I really enjoyed my visit to Mory's with Bianca Ryan! Marie and John were so welcoming and made us feel like regulars in no time. We ended up visiting four times in just one week and tried almost everything on the menu. The menu had a great selection, both from the regular menu and the daily specials. Every meal we had was fantastic. And to top it off, our visit is now forever remembered on our table! Can't wait to come back again!

Charming college bar, good club food. Originally members only, but now I think non-members can also go. When I was an undergraduate, I was a regular.

The burger, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant on the Yale campus are excellent.

The restaurant's owner statement is comprised of the history of the family-run business and the commitment to serving fresh, locally-sourced ingredients.

First, it's a private club, although qualifying for membership is pretty easy and cheap. Second, the memo lacks basic food. The chef has too big a head and thinks everything needs to be unpronounceable. The place needs some basic club food: club sandwiches, fish and chips, as well as some things like lobster rolls, and simple fish not drowned in an exotic sauce. I tried the salmon a few months back, but the sauce had way too much salt making the dish inedible.
