Vivi Bubble Tea is one of my go-to stops whenever I'm in New Haven. They have tons of different bubble tea flavors (matcha is my favorite) and different things you can put in your tea besides boba. Also great because they use soy milk and non-dairy powders for their flavors. Only downside is that sometimes the consistency is off, and the tea will be way too sweet. Easily fixed by adding more milk at home, or just asking them to use a certain amount of sugar. I haven't tried them yet, but they also have poke bowls which can be easily made vegan.
Always come here once a week! I get the Oreo cookie slush it is pricy but so worth it. Awesome environment and nice places to sit at. Nice customer service always sweet. :
I ordered the matcha tea. It was terrible. It?s tasted like toothpaste, and I had to wait for 30 minutes (there were no people at all). All I?m saying, is that there are a bunch of bubble tea stores nearby, just take the 3 minutes to walk there. It willbe worth it.
This is my favorite boba spot in New Haven. The place is consistent and has a large menu (almost overwhelming). Every drink is customizable to your liking so please don't say you don't like boba just based off one drink! Passionfruit QQ and flaming brownsugar are my go to's. It never misses!!! They also have poke bowls (delicious) and macarons (DELICIOUS). If it's your firsttime, you should let them know and they can help you find a drink that you can enjoy.
