York Street Noodle House - New Haven

I want to love york street noodle house, but they are very beautiful or for me. the food quality is different during each visit. sometimes you eat really delicious, and sometimes it is a fat chaos without taste. I usually get the spicy wool basilikum nudel with tofu. Their kimchi and veggieknödel are frozen out of a bag (I just know that they are the same I buy from h mart in flushing.) I assume all their dumplings are so. at a visit I ordered the veggie, the tofu noodle soup grub. I was sure it was vegan with a veggie-based broth. I got the order and it was chicken broth (greasy and yellow,) okay no big thing I just send it back. but they gave me a hard time that it was veg when it was clear hen (a friend of mine ordered a suppe that came with the chicken broth and they were identical, friend tasted both and said it.) they were very rude and evil over the whole ordeal.

We ordered the disgusting suppenna from the vegetarian menu, which was good, but I made myself feel quite disturbed after my vater kimchi dumplings had ordered from the same vegetarian menu and found meat in them. they don't speak well English there, so it was hard to confirm whether options were vegan or not. Overall, my non vegan or vegetarian friends would recommend that they don't have to worry about meat or animal products.

Few vegan options, but very good eating! the prices are very favorable for what they get, and the service was great.

Not only are their suppen bursting with Umami flavor, but they are also the half of the price of other places and the doubling of the delicious! I also have the Veg sampler and loved the steamed bungalow. and I'm very happy with that. updated by previous review on 2018-08-02

While I enjoyed going here in the past, after an incident today I will never come back. I ordered the mixed vegetarian dumplings, and the server put in and served me the chicken and shrimp version of the plate. Since the chicken was all reduced, I didn't recognize until I got into the shrimp dumping. When I asked, the server argued with me that meat is included in the vegetarian dish until another server came and broke the dispute. The server finally apologized. They didn't charge me for this court, but still charged me for the spring rolls. I'm so incredibly disturbed and upset. Not only did they feed me meat, but tried to make me think it was my fault.
