The South House Cook is fantastic! Although I no longer live in New Iberia, I make a point to visit whenever I can. It's a hidden gem in the area! Everything on the menu is delicious!

Sauntered in hungry and I got BBQ plate...the potato salad was great but the rice dressing was perfection! I got Chicken and Sausage with bbq beans, potato salad. I think it was 9 bucks. Well worth it because 2 can eat on one. It was sugarcane festival Sunday and I was delighted to find they also had sweet potato pie...old school soul food...will recommend and eat again!
