This place owes me a whole kist of these red white and blue star politics. I paid her and didn't get her on the drive thru. Once I came home and realized, I called and the young man said so sad that they called the manager. I gave her my number, and here I wait for the manager to call 3 weeks later. otherwise my children enjoyed this day their waving and pommes and blooming.
I've never been to this Dairy Queen. I went because of convenience. I usually frequent the one on Freeport Rd. But anyway..DQ is DQ right? Well for beginners the wait was extremely long. Once I ordered my food via the drive thru.... and made it around the bend. I noticed only two cars ahead of me. So naturally I'm wondering why the wait? Once I finally make it to the window... being observant...I noticed that there was a couple in DQ waiting for their order and what looked like at least three employees working. The young lady asked another employee about my order in which she pointed behind her where there looked to be racks with food on them. Yet I waited another 5 minutes to get drinks and food that was already ready? I mean I sat there looking at my food. And watched her grab my food and place it in a bag to give to me. I'm asking myself... why is it taking so long. I know we live in a... I have to have it now society. But...OMG... they took there good old time. Now with all that being said...DQ is DQ. The food was no longer hot. But the food was good. And for that alone they get atleast three stars. I just know to go to another DQ next time.
This is the 2nd time in the past month that we visited this Dairy Queen and received cold food. I realize that worker’s are tough to come by, but to only schedule 2 people to run the grill, drive thru, and front counter is ridiculous. If you only have 2 people, shut the front doors and have everyone funnel through the drive thru. By the time the young lady had a minute to deliver our food, it was cold. The 2 people working today around 12:30 deserve praise for handling things as well as they did.
First the guy at the register was new and two meals was $25 which is ridiculous, our food was cold and the order of cheese curds was burnt and the banana milkshake I ordered wasn't blended down at all there were huge chunks of banana. I love Dairy Queen but will not ever return to this one. I came to DQ to try the new stack burgers and the experience was all around disappointing!
