On September 14th I had to make a call that I never thought I would have to make. As I watched flames engulf the restaurant I started 36 years ago, my heart sank as I dialed 911. I cannot express enough praise to all the firemen and emergency personnel that responded. I could not have made it through the day without their support and amazing hard work. Although they were not able to save the building, everybody made it out safe and we were even able to remove a few cherished belongings. Usually a person does not find out during their lifetime how much they were really loved and appreciated; however, every day since the fire, I have received loving and kind calls, words, and notes from the community and those that patronized my business. Along with the firemen, I am so grateful for those that have reached out to me and expressed your kindness and generosity even setting up a gofundme cite so that I may establish a new business. Trust that the funds are being used for that very purpose and I hope to see each of you very soon. With great love and respect, Ida Peluso.

I love this place. Makes me think of Billy Joel's Italian Restaurant. Unfortunatly Ida's is closed due to a fire. Not sure if she will reopen

Ida we are so sad to be watching today's events...I am glad they say your safe, you have an entire community behind you! Best homemade Italian I have had anywhere and enjoyed it for the last 25 years! I hope you consider rebuilding! God Bless!
