Pet friendly, They have food and regular drinks, they also have beer, and some hard alcohol. You park on the bottom of the boat and also on a second side level on either side of the boat. You're not allowed to stay in your vehicle or be down where they are while the trip is in progress. There is a upper top outside level where there is seating and a great view of the water or sunset if you go at that time. Happy Travels!
Essy to get on the ferry with no reservations. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The ferry ride is about an hour and 20 min, but there is room to get a real lunch on the ferry or breakfast, or dinner. They have a pretty good sandwich menu, coffe ,pastries and more. Great experience.

We took the ferry from New London Connecticut to Orient Point Long Island. It was fantastic. It's by far the only way I'd travel up north, bypassing all the insane traffic getting through NYC. Big thumbs up! (and they make a great bacon, egg and cheese sandwich)
