Soon Han's Sushi - New Minas

Tryed this place for the first time recently and came out. The sushi was good, but the sashimi was small for $3/hour and the part I didn't like most was that a 15% tip was automatically applied to my bill and they didn't mention it until I asked for the bill. Felt like a stubborn way to do business and I won't be back.

Some really good sushi My.son.compared it to some of the best he ate while visiting Victoria. High praise.

Service was ok. Sushi pieces were small but good taste. The sashimi was similar, small pieces and ok taste. The Miso soup was ok but missing more flavour and that silky texture. The kicker was when I paid with debit (credit card not accepted) and after the transaction was complete, the person tells me that tip was included, we hadn't recieved a bill, which removed any influence for me to have a say in it's value and experience. I won't be back.

The sushi was good but poorly presented and not what I expected.. the flavors were good. unlike the other sushi place here in New Minus which everything was horrible and bland.. but presentation and adding a drop of sriracha sauce on the top of spicy tuna or spicy salmon rolls is not the proper way to do it.. very limited menu and I'm not sure if I'd want them to have much more of a menu.. because they couldn't make the simple things properly but again flavors were good everything was fresh..

Tiny clean restaurant with authentic, fresh and flavourful sushi! The best wasabi I've ever had. Family friendly and lovely service.
