Being a vegetarian, I had not eaten a hot dog in over ten years. Prior to visiting New Orleans, I researched vegetarian options and came across this restaurant. While most hot dogs are meat-based, the vegan hot dogs on their menu were truly exceptional. We dined at this place three times during our time in the French Quarter. The only drawback is the price - it is quite expensive. In fact, it cost us $45 Australian dollars for two hot dogs after currency conversion, which is outrageous. The service was inconsistent - sometimes good, sometimes indifferent. However, if you are a vegetarian or vegan, I highly recommend trying a hot dog from their vegan selection as they are delicious.
I got the rogarou and my husband got the son of a saint. We also added on a side of tots with cheese. This honestly was the best thing I’ve tasted yet in New Orleans for lunch! Highly recommend!
I thoroughly enjoyed dining at this restaurant. It wasn't too crowded and the bacon werewolf brat was amazing!! The bartender was a cool guy and very funny. They also had a good selection of drinks.
My all time wish of trying a hot dog got fulfilled , thanks to their vegetarian hot dogs. They have a veggie and vegan hot dog! This place was flooded with people on a Saturday night but we were lucky to get a spot. But they have their upstairs open for drinks and have outside seating overlooking the Frenchmen street. Thanks to our Uber driver who recommended this place. I can vouch for it too!
