Elizabeth St Cafe At Saint Vincent

This is my go to outdoor restaurant. I love sitting outside in this casual Bahamas feeling restaurant eating dressy feeling food. My favorite thing here is the escargot soaked in butter and Thai basil curry with a baguette. The food is delicious. I have a hard time choosing an appetizer. The steamed rice rolls in ponzu sauce are another favorite. The wait staff is very nice and attentive and the Hotel is very cool. Go to the lobby bar have a drink.

Overall, it was a lovely experience! However, I felt that the host could have done a better job of seating guests, as we were placed quite close to others when there were plenty of empty tables available. This made it difficult to have an intimate conversation. On a positive note, both the server and the food were fantastic—definitely a 10 out of 10!

The ambiance is pleasant, the food is delicious, and the service is friendly, allowing us ample time to chat without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, two of the drinks we wanted were unavailable. Overall, there is a great variety on the menu.

I really enjoy the atmosphere of this restaurant and hotel, having dined here several times. While I'm not particularly fond of the menu, I appreciate the overall vibe. However, on this occasion, the service was disappointing. Our waiter was quite inattentive, and we had to repeatedly ask someone to bring him over. Because of this experience, I may not return.

ONE OF OUR FAVORITE PLACES IN NEW ORLEANS... DEFINATELY A HIDDEN GEM!!! ALWAYS EXCELLENT FOOD AND SERVICE!!!
