When I asked if these were English muffins instead of the chive biscuits, I was told they were the chive biscuits (this was proved false later, when our bill said English muffins). It took almost 20 minutes to receive our drinks, and we were told they were out of **** mary mix... at Sunday brunch... on NFC Sunday. The food was delicious, though.
This was probably my very worst dinning experience ever in New Orleans. Went to brunch because we were seeing a show across the street. They refused to show us a wine list even though we were sitting right next to a full bar that was open. Apparently, we could only choose one of 3 brunch special drinks. The waitress, who had clearly not been trained because she couldn’t answer any questions, attempted to aske her manager about the wine list. The manager yelled, “I dont Have time for this!” And ran off. She did this right in front of us. We got our food and it was AWFUL. The cheese grits were a bowl of badly cooked grits with a piece of american cheese melted on top. My egg white scramble was so watery, it was floating on the plate. My Greek yogurt had powdered sugar on it. I don’t think this place is long for this world.
Great food and drinks. Unfortunately, the service was lacking.
We didnt even stay to eat. That is why I gave it three stars instead of less. We had a reservation. There was no one at the podium to seat us, then were told just sit wherever you like. A lot of the staff seemed new and couldn't answer basic drink or food questions. I do not fault them. The place just seemed like it was not ready to be open that day.
Walked out from poor service. Waited 15 minutes without being helped before leaving.
